It's hard to imagine that at ten or eleven years old, our 5th graders have spent (at least) 1,000 days of their lives at school since kindergarten! We are nearly 100 days into the school year, and we thought it deserved a little recognition and awareness just how much time is devoted to education.

Our days at school are filled with lots of learning to develop the whole child: social, emotional, academic, health/fitness, and so much more. Some days are more challenging than others, and so we recognize what a great accomplishment it is to show up every day, and continually strive to be better than we were the day before.

We encourage our students to keep up the great work, stay motivated, continue developing great friendships, and to work hard each and every day toward their future.

Take a moment to celebrate your child, reflect on how much they have learned and grown since they have started school and PRAISE them for all they have done well in their student lives!

GO VIKINGS!!!!!

THANK YOU to Aaron and his mom (Tricia), Christian and his mom (Christina), Lucee and her mom (Jamie), and Amelia and her mom (Ashley), for making these awesome banners for our hallway! the 5th graders LOVED walking through the giant 1,000 banner on their 1,000th day of school!
